
Extreme Architecture TU Delft
Job Schroën & Joost Woertman are joining the May edition of Design Library Meetings. The instructors from the TU Delft Master Program EXTREME Architecture will give a lecture about integral design in extreme environments which make students aware of their technical and architectural design choices. The event will take place at İskele on Wednesday, May 1st at 19.00.
The event will be held in English.

Job Schroën, an architect, teaches at TU Delft’s Chair of Architectural Engineering where he leads the ‘Seismic Graduation Studio’. Furthermore, Schroën is the founder of September Architectuur. He worked on many complex buildings, including museums (Fries Museum in Leeuwarden, Brabants Museum in’s-Hertogenbosch, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, Anne Frank Museum in Amsterdam) and concert buildings (Metropool in Hengelo, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam).
Joost Woertman received his architectural education at TU Delft. Since establishing his own studio in 2010, he has undertaken various architectural projects ranging from new buildings to transformations, from homes to interior spaces, and custom furniture. Additionally, since 2016, he has served as a guest lecturer in the “Architectural Engineering” department at TU Delft, overseeing a studio with students as a design instructor.
